Ivan shares with us in an interview about his running story and Nike+.

He picked up running in Army and branched into Biathlons, representing his tertiary institution NTU. However, after his marriage he literally slacked off exercising. He began to pick up running again when he realized he "couldn't pick up my daughter because of my (his) stomach”. Hence, running became his quickest way of losing weight.

Ivan would probably be one of the early adopters owning a Nike+ before it arrived in the Singapore market via Amazon. He needed something to motivate him, and this was the key motivation to his runs now. The Nike+ helps Ivan clock his mileage on his runs and "made me rethink running as something fun".
