An interview with Alvin, one of Singapore’s top Nike+ runners.

Alvin took part in a marathon the first time ever 4 years ago in 2004. He thought it will be his first and last, but he was warned that running could become an addiction. Today, Alvin is addicted to running because according to him, "the further you run, the more you want to run!"

He began using the Nike+ SportKit about a year ago. Owning an ipod nano, the Nike+ technology allowed him to listen to music while running so as to drive away the boredom from a two to three hours run. Since then, the Nike+ has helped him be more aware of the distances he has covered and the amount of time that has elapsed. Also, when he returns home and plucks the Nike+ into his computer, he is able to analyse the run on a graph to see where he ran faster and slower. Hence, to Alvin, the Nike+ has changed his running experience and allowed him to set goals more easily.
