A fresh graduate from Nanyang Technological University, Eline has been running since the age of 13 years.

Why do you take part in these 10km races?
As a build up for either the half marathon or marathon at the end of the year.
What time of the day do you usually train?
Morning (around 8:30am) or Evening (around 5:30pm)
First running experience:
Sports Day in Primary School 100m sprint.
What motivates you run?
To keep fit, regulate my emotions and relief stress. Also, nothing beats the feeling of having done a good run. Running is also a form of overcoming the aches and pains after completing a competitive run.
What goes inside your mind when the pain starts kicking in?
- - You've come so far, just keep going.
- - You can do it!
Any tips for beginners taking part in the 10km race?
Don't get too excited and start off too fast. Make sure you prepare well and ensure that you have adequate training and preparation before the run.
How old do you think you will run until and why?
Until my legs cannot support my running anymore! I feel like something is missing if I don't run regularly.
