The Nike+ Human Race 10K brings an entirely new running experience to consumers around the globe, and is about inspiring and connecting runners worldwide to compete together on the same day, 31st August 2008. Besides raising the profile of running through a united global 10km run, this event leverages on music as the springboard to introduce, incite and involve the youth of today. The sound of the event will be amplified right from the start of the race throughout the route till the end with an exclusive finale music concert.
Besides signing up for the physical race, participants can also choose to sign up for the virtual race. No entry fees are required to join the virtual run. In the virtual race, participants can choose to run anywhere, anytime before and on 31st August 2008 with a Nike+ Sport kit or Nike+ SportBand. Thereafter, they can log their miles and contribute to the global charity of their choice!
