Where should I line up for the start line?
The start line for the Race is located at the Esplanade Bridge.
Please refer to the Race details for more information.

Where can I leave my belongings?
Baggage deposit services are available at the Padang from 3.45pm to 10pm.
All participants can choose to deposit their belongings at the baggage deposit, but service availability is based on a first-come first-serve basis; up to 5,000 bags. Participants are encouraged to “bag pool”.

While maximum care and security will be enforced, the organizers will not be responsible for any loss or damaged items or delays in retrieving bags.

Is it necessary to wear the ChampionChip?
Yes, all runners will be provided their race timing with the ChampionChip device.

The ChampionChip is a state-of-the-art timing device. It is a highly accurate system that captures the time taken by thousands of runners participating in the Race. Wearing the ChampionChip will enable us to provide you with the exact time you take to complete the Race.

Do I need to return the ChampionChip on completing the Race?
Yes. You will have to return your ChampionChip after the race. As the ChampionChip is a loan item, all participants who fail to return it will be charged a S$50.00 (Singapore Dollars Fifty Only) penalty.

Do I need to use Nike+ Sport Kit or SportBand during the race?
You may still use the Nike+ Sport Kit or SportBand during the race, but the ChampionChip will be used as the official race timing device for the physical race.

However, participants who sign up for the virtual race will need to use a Nike+ Sport Kit or Nike+ SportBand to clock their runs and log in their miles on the www.nikeplus.com.sg

What happens if I am injured along the Race route?
Sweeper vehicles will pick up runners who are injured or unable to complete the Race and take them to the End point.

First Aid stations can be found along the race route as well. You may also alert Route Marshals or patrolling Paramedics regarding your injury.
