779,275 runners representing 142 countries took part in the Nike+ Human Race, logging their 10K runs in 25 cities.

In total, the Nike+ runners who registered for the event logged more than 4 million Ks training for race day, issued 280,000 new challenges and by August 31 08, the Nike+ community had swelled to more than 1.2 million members.
