A Worldwide Milestone with More to Come!
On 8.31.2008, runners from around the world joined together to participate in the Nike+ Human Race 10. It was an unprecedented event that united 779,275 participants at one of 25 official race cities or using Nike+ where they were, and representing 142 countries. It was one of our biggest success stories.

Nike was excited to provide an opportunity for so many people around the world to train and run together. Nike+ members who registered for the event logged over 4 million kilometres training for race day, issued 280,000 new challenges and by 8.31.2008, the Nike+ community had swelled to over 1.2 million members!

And if you used your Nike+ iPod Sport Kit to log your kilometres on race day, don’t forget to check out your trophy case on NikePlus.com to see your race day bib. The entire Nike+ community will be able to see that you were a part of history on 8.31.2008.

Also, head to the YouTube channel for the race day video, trash talk from the All American Rejects, a message from Kanye, training tips from A-Rod and more. And make sure you get a copy of the commemorative race day book at Nikeplusbook.com. With more than 300 photographs and interviews, this book is the perfect keepsake. And what’s more is that you can customize your cover with your own race day picture.

Now that the Nike+ Human Race is over, it’s time to start thinking about your Nike+ Resolution for the new year!
