The Nike+ Human Race is a 10k course

WHERE IS THE COURSE?
The course will start on Alexandra Avenue, along St Kilda Road, past the Arts Centre, Flinders Street Station, Federation Square and through the City, past Fitzroy Gardens and ending on Linlithgow Avenue just outside the Sydney Myer Music Bowl.

WHERE CAN I REGISTER?
You can register for the 2008 Nike+ Human Race 10K Melbourne at http://www.nikeplus.com

WHAT IS THE COST TO PARTICIPATE?
The registration fee is $60. All race entries are non-refundable and non-transferable. We are unable to transfer entry fees to other Nike races. Also, your registration, racing number and timing chip are non-transferable. 20% of your entry fee will be donated to a Nike+ Human Race 10K global charity of your choice.

WILL I RECEIVE A CONFIRMATION OF MY REGISTRATION?
Yes. A confirmation email will be sent once your registration is confirmed. A separate email will be sent advising when Nike has mailed you your race pack (including race day t-shirt, timing device and information booklet). Registrations completed after Wednesday the 20th August will have to collect their race pack from the Melbourne City Square. Please note that if your race t-shirt and information pack is not collected you will not be able to participate in the event.

IS ONLINE REGISTRATION SECURE?
Yes. The process uses a security technology called Comodo, which encrypts your personal and credit card information.

WHAT IS YOUR PRIVACY POLICY REGARDING THE INFORMATION SUPPLIED ON THE REGISTRATION FORM?
Nike does not share your information with any other parties without your consent. Nike will not share any information unless you have indicated on your registration form that you would like to receive information.

WILL THERE BE REGISTRATION ON EVENT DAY?
No. There will be no event day registration. You must register in advance.

CAN I REGISTER FOR A FRIEND?
No. Each participating individual must personally agree to the waiver included in the registration process and use a unique email address.

CAN SOMEONE ELSE PICK UP MY RACE PACKET ON MY BEHALF?
Yes. All runners will receive an email confirmation from Nike in August. You may bring that email confirmation to pick up your friend's race packet.

WHERE CAN I PICK UP MY RACE PACKET?
For registrations prior to Wednesday the 20th August your race pack will be mailed. For registrations post Wednesday the 20th August, you will need to collect your race pack from the Melbourne City Square. Please note if you pack is not collected, you will not be able to participate in the race.

CAN I PICK UP MY PACKET ON RACE DAY?
No, you must pick up your race packet at the designated collection point before the event. Due to the bib assignments being printed on the shirts, we are unable to accommodate race day packet pickup.

DO I HAVE TO WEAR THE RACE SHIRT ON EVENT DAY?
Yes. The shirt identifies you as an official Nike Human Race 10K participant and it's your ticket to the post event concert. The t-shirt also acts as your bib number and each one has a unique number.

ARE DOGS ALLOWED ON THE COURSE?
No, dogs will not be permitted on the course to run with their owners

ARE SCOOTERS/SKATEBOARDS/ROLLERBLADES ETC ALLOWED ON THE COURSE?
No. Only strollers and wheelchairs are allowed for the safety of themselves and others.
