They have been resurrected in countless colorways and interpretations since they first made it from the designer's head to athletes' feet. They are icons. More sit beside them. And more will join their ranks in the years to come.

If you so much as gave a slight nod to any of these, then read closely- Nike and JORDAN present Future Sole, a competition to discover and develop footwear designers of the future.
How does it work? You submit a shoe design. Top designers from Nike and JORDAN (depending on which contest you enter and, yes, you can enter both) will judge your design for the chance to win up to $7,000 in cash and prizes and see their shoes made in living color.
