Beat The Streets: The Homeless World Cup

October 26 2008 Tags: news

During the first week of December, 500 footballers from around the world will converge on Melbourne, Australia to collide in 400 matches of action packed, 8 per side street football.

Every player competing has been homeless for some period in the previous year. And for each, it’s a chance to destroy stereotypes and a chance to make significant changes to their lives while showcasing their skills on an international stage.
